Tandem Pushchairs : Phil and Teds Vibes 3 Wheeler Tandem Pushchair
The Phil and Teds range of pushchairs is one of the most popular on the market, and that has a lot to do with the practicality of the design, that will allow you to easily add a second seat for when the second child comes along.
The Vibe is the latest edition to the Phils and Ted pushchair collection and from what I’ve seen of it, I can see it being one of their biggest sellers yet, being as stylish, ergonomic and hardworking as you could wany.
The first feature I want to talk about is one I’ve hinted at already - the addition of the second seat. Phil and Teds call this the double kit, and have done a lot to make this work as well as possibly - in the case of the Vibe pushchair the second seat will fold with the main pushchair, meaning once it’s on you can leave it on!
So the seating gets a tick, but what about the pushchair itself? It’s good news. Thanks to a lightweight aluminium chassis, this is going to extremely easy to pop in and out of the car, and thanks to a multi-adjustable handle you can adjust it to be just right for you however short or tall you are.
This tandem pushchair also gets a thumbs up with the steering, desiged with a hand operated brake, that will mean no more sore feet as you press down hard on the brakes. The wheels are made with a triple spoke design, and thanks to wheel bearings you should find this Phils and Ted pushchair easy to push whether it’s on a smooth tarmac path or bumpy off road walk.
The seating isn’t as adaptable as a twin pushchair, with your newborn having to go at the back, but it does have it’s advantages. The first is that due to the complete recline position of the second seat, you can go out with your kids from day one, and thanks to the positioning, you’ll be able to have them facing at you through the handle bars which is great for bonding.
It’s not just good for your newborn though. Having your toddler at the front is great for them as it means they don’t need to keep quiet whilst your youngest is sleeping, and means they won’t be ignored by everyone who coos over your newborn.
The Phil and Teds Vibes Double Pushchair is reduced from £558.59 to £488.95 at Kiddies Kingdom.
